Hello, my name is Jamie Michelle and I specialize in low maintenance lived in color, blonding, dimensional color, & bridal styling with a splash of child star making (dance choreographer).

I was born and raised in Papillion, NE and attended my first dance class at the young age of 5 at Brownstone Dance Studio. I graduated from Papillion-Lavista High School and was a 4 year dance team member and captain my senior year. 

After finishing high school I attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln focusing on a dance major. I joined Kappa Delta Sorority and met so many amazing people in the Greek system that I will forever be thankful for. As a freshman I auditioned and was selected for the Walt Disney’s 2012 casting pool. During my time in Lincoln I started teaching at a Divas dance studio. When the studio closed its doors, I moved over to HJ Dance and have been there ever since! 

While I was in Lincoln, I made the decision to leave the university and attend college of hair design to become a licensed cosmetologist. 

Right after graduating, I started at Garbo’s Salon and Spa working as a stylist. After dipping my toes in the water and getting the hang of things, I was promoted to Front Desk Coordinator where I found my love of everything that goes on behind the scenes. Four years later I moved to Kontempo., where I continued to grow and learn, becoming more and more confident in my skills. I am super thankful to be able to say that I have learned from some of the best in the business! Now after almost 9 years, I am out on my own in a beautiful salon running my own business. 

I enjoy spending my free time with family and friends, entertaining, going out to dinner and happy hour. I am obsessed with my dog Fitz, and if you know me, you’ll know that he kind of goes everywhere I go. This year I have deemed the year of travel so stay tuned for pictures!
